The Meritorious Service Medal is awarded to members of the 4th who distinguished themselves by outstanding non-combat meritorious achievement or service to the clan (e.g. evaluations, paperwork, server maintenance) NCO Professional Development Ribbon is awarded to a member of the 4th who has successfully completed his or her NCO Training (NCOS classes) and has been promoted to CPL or above. The Army Service Ribbon is awarded to a new member of the 4th who has successfully completed his or her initial entry training (BCT classes) and has been promoted to a rank of PVT or higher. Awarded to the founding members that helped establish the 4th Infantry Division "Iron Horse" Clan.
