Big Brother Bot (B3) and You

What is B3?

Big Brother Bot uses a warning system just like we used to use with RCON procedures.  Each B3 warning adds a total of about 2 minutes to a kick counter. Once a person reaches 3 warnings, they in turn, would have a 5 minute warning time. Once a 3rd warning is issued, the server kicks that person for 5 minutes. These warnings remain in what is called an active state for a total of 48 hours after the infraction. At 48 hours the ban goes into inactive. At that point the record of the infraction still exists in Echelon, but not on the active list.

Now what is Echelon?

Echelon is a web back end to the B3 system. Inside of it I can see everything that has happened to a player. Any name they may have used, there IP?s, GUID?s, in-game chat logs, warnings, bans. If you can think of it, it is in there. Inside of Echelon is the ability for an admin to read live chat inside the server and talk back to them.

What does that all mean?

B3 Logs everything you do in our servers. Please keep in mind at all times, the 4th does review these logs daily seeing who is doing what. If someone comes to the forum saying something happened wrong. We will immediately know who did what even if they didn't. Please keep this in mind when you make actions. If you are attempting to abuse our friendliness, we will know about it.

What can I do with B3?

B3 is based on levels, when a person first enters the server they are level 0, means they can do the following:

• !register (register yourself as a basic user)
• !help (get info on how to use a command and what commands you can use)
• !regtest (display your current user status/level)
• !rules (displays our current server rules)

In addition to the above commands, once a player is registered (using the !register command) they can now use these commands:

• !time (display the servers current time, EDT)
• !maps (list the server map rotation)
• !nextmap (display the next map in rotation)
• !seen (displays when was this player last seen)
• !admins (displays the current admins in the server)
• !xlrstats (displays your current stats on the server)
• !xlrtopstats (displays the current top players on the server)
